The other finalists were U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Chinese director Zhang Yimou, Time said on Wednesday.

“In one of the craziest elections in American history, he overcame a lack of experience, a funny name, two candidates who are political institutions and the racial divide to become the 44th president of the United States,” the magazine said.

The 37-year-old victim told investigators her husband of three years punched her face and kicked her arms and legs Monday night after she accused him of having an affair.

The victim said she told her 25-year-old husband as he used the restroom “to display his penis to her so that she can smell it,” the report states.

She said she asked him to show his genital area so she could determine whether he was cheating with another woman.

As she went to sniff her husband’s penis, he reportedly punched her mouth and started to kick her when she was on the floor. The husband then fled the scene.

Police saw bruises and red marks on the victim’s mouth, legs and arms.

She became uncooperative when told a warrant would be filed for her husband’s arrest.

According to the New York Post, the rapper has been hit with three foreclosure actions due to unpaid mortgages for his three Harlem homes. The report claims he owes $3.5 million.

The debt doesn’t appear to end there. Apparently, he also owes $60,000 to American Express for credit card debt. On top of all of this, the IRS is asking for a $367,000 tax lien for unpaid taxes of $40,000 owed to the state collector.

In August of this year, a foreclosure suit was filed claiming Doug E. owed more than $1.73 million.

Although he declined to comment when asked about these financial problems, he is working on Doug E’s Chicken and Waffles, a new restaurant he’s opening up in Harlem next month.

The case involved a Las Vegas, Nevada, hotel room confrontation over sports memorabilia. Simpson said the items had been stolen from him.

O.J. Simpson was sentenced Friday to up to 33 years in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping in a failed attempt to recover sports memorabilia from two collectibles dealers.

Simpson will be eligible for parole after nine years.

Burress, who was with his teammate Antonio Pierce, was released from a New York City hospital Saturday afternoon and was staying at his home in Totowa, N.J. It was unclear how long the injury, which pierced skin and muscle tissue but avoided any bone or artery, would keep Burress out of the lineup.

“Obviously, our primary concern is for Plaxico’s health and well-being,” the Giants said in a statement released by Pat Hanlon, the team’s vice president for communications, “and given the circumstances, we are relieved to say he was released from a New York City hospital at approximately 2 p.m. today.”
